WEEK 13 & 14


OBJECTIVE

  1. Produce graphical user interface (GUI) using Visual basic
  2. integrate with teamviewer to do online monitoring

RESULT

  • Below shows the GUI for the development. First it shows the system start. On status shows no serial data because RS232 not connected to PC yet. SpO2 box will show in percentage while heart beat will shows on pulse box 




  • Below show that the RS232 cable is connected to PC. Pulse and SpO2 box display dash to indicate the system ready. Status box show no probe because the sensor probe not connected yet.


  • Figure below show the condition when probe is connected. Status box display ok to indicate the sensor probe is connected while SpO2 and Pulse box display zero to indicate a process to produce output is in progress


  • Below shows when the system is running well. Status show ok to indicate the sensor probe is connected. SpO2 box shows 96%  of oxygen is detected. Pulse box shows heartbeat of 66 beats per minutes. The waveform shows the output from the signal conditioning process.



  • To achieve online monitoring, teamviewer is used. below shows the initialization with teamviewer(TV). TV will provide ID and random password to have safe communication



  • Figure below shows notebook and tablet successfully connected with TV to provide online monitoring





CONCLUSION

  • By using visual basic (VB), the process to develop GUI is faster because VB is simple to use. to provide online monitoring, teamviewer is chosen because of the stability and safety connection.
